FAQ'S

Are we a good fit?

I am a Seattle newborn photographer who works well with clients that are relaxed and trust me with the flow of their session. They don't care as much about getting the perfectly posed shot of everyone smiling at the camera; rather they focus on being present and giving lots of cuddles.

Why should we take newborn photos?

This time in your life is a sleep deprived blur but little babies don't keep. Their tiny fingers and toes, that sweet milk smell and their tiny tufts of hair...these are the details you want to remember because time is a thief.

What should I expect?

If there are siblings, I will focus on building rapport with them first. If siblings are happy, everyone is happy. We will start with posed family photos and sibling photos. Then sibling can have a break and I'll move towards parents + baby photos, individual parent with baby and just baby photos. I will deliver your digital photos via online gallery within 3 weeks.

How do I book a session?

Reach out to me through this website or email me at linglingzhengphotography@gmail.com. I will send you a contract and process payment. Once those things are done, we will set a date! You'll answer a questionnaire and receive a detailed client guide.

Why should we take maternity photos?

As your Seattle maternity photographer, I want to emphasize how you can never have too many photos of the most cherished moments in your life. I've never had moms regret taking photos...only regrets of missed opportunities to get it documented years from now.

How do we pick a location?

An indoor newborn photography session can be done in the comfort of your home or at a studio (rental fees apply). The bigger the windows, the better light there will be! If you prefer an outdoor session, pick from my location guide.

What should I wear?

The most important thing I tell Seattle families is to choose clothing that is comfortable and fits your family’s style. Avoid matching, big logos, neon colors or characters as it can be distracting.

What if I don't need my print credit?

You don't have to use the print credit but it is built into the cost of the collection. I can't give you a discount if you don't use your print credit. Print credit is good for high quality prints and products tied directly to your gallery.

"Ling Ling did maternity and then newborn family photos for us within the span of a couple months. Her work is beautiful and authentic, and she is so good with toddlers: inventive, silly, and very go-with-the-flow. Her booking process is professional and she sends a form with lots of questions ahead of time -- and then remembers your preferences. I highly recommend working with her! We will continue to come to her for family photos for years to come."
