Three products I love in the gallery store:

I am a firm believer that your family photos should be on display and not on your cloud...that's why all my collections include print credit! My daughters love seeing our family photos throughout our home on desks, mantles and walls. I recommend these three types of products in the client gallery store that are beautiful and easy to display. See below for the digital photo and the physical print/product.

Gallery Boards

All my prints and products come from MillersLab, a professional print lab for photographers. My computer monitor is calibrated so the colors I see on my screen are the same colors I see in the prints and products. Gallery Boards are deep matte paper prints mounted to an 1/8'' double weight board. They're awesome displayed on their own or in a frame. I've found the smaller sizes (5x7 and 8x10 gallery board) can be displayed on their own, like leaned against a mantle. Because the larger size (11x14 gallery board) is so long in length, it can bend and does best in a frame.

Metal Prints

Metal prints are so vibrant in color! Metal prints feel modern when compared to a canvas print. The thin, ultra-hard aluminum surface is waterproof, weatherproof and these prints use the latest technology for enhanced color, clarity and detail. Metal prints have a high-gloss or satin option. When you look straight on at your metal print, they look similar. It's when you look from the side, you'll see that the high-gloss reflects the surroundings whereas the satin reduces glare.

Prints

Prints are an easy and inexpensive way to keep your photo frames updated with the latest family photo. There are 3 types of prints to choose from in your gallery store.

  • Fine Art: printed on a fine art cotton paper with a smooth surface and museum grade quality. The paper feels the sturdiest of the 3 types.
  • Matte: printed on a deep matte paper with a smooth surface. The whites pop so if your gallery has a lot of whites, this paper will give the best contrast.
  • Semi Gloss: printed on luster paper with a subtle sheen. This is the most popular paper. The texture feels most similar to other photo papers you've gotten in the past at Shutterfly, Costco, etc.

I can't wait to see what you order.

You can't go wrong with any of the options in the client gallery store. Please note, you have one month to place your order. It makes me so happy when clients email me photos of how they've displayed everything. If you've come to this blog post and didn't get your family photos done with me, fear not. Here's a blog post about how to get your photos off of your phone and onto your walls. If you have any questions, email me linglingzhengphotography@gmail.com
