Senior Photos in the Snoqualmie Valley.
The cool thing about photographing seniors is that they want to collaborate on the vision for their session! It's so fun to guide them through the location, styling and session flow. I have a list of locations that I love however am open to scouting new places that are meaningful to your senior. I provide seniors access to a personal stylist to help make them feel comfortable in the clothes they're in. And during the session, I show seniors the back of my camera so that they can provide feedback on what they like.
Choosing a location for your senior photos.
This senior wanted a session that took in the scenery where he'd grown up. We went back and forth on a few locations and once I had a list of spots to scout out, took my kids on an adventure. I downloaded Google Maps ahead of time as the area did not have reception and used my Sun Tracker app to figure out the best lighting for the session. At the end of our adventure, I took my kids to Swirl Snackshop for frozen yogurt. They had an axolotl there which was SO COOL!
Choosing outfits for your senior photos and collaborating on the session flow.
Clothes are meant to show your personality while also keeping you comfortable. Seniors can bring 2-3 outfits and either change in their car or in my portable pop up tent. Choosing clothes that you can walk, climb and squat in ensures we can do a variety of poses for a varied gallery. If you do need styling assist, all sessions include complimentary access to my personal stylist! On the day of the session, I'll take close up photos and wide angle shots with my 35mm and 85mm lenses. I'll show your senior the back on my camera to that they can provide feedback. The most important thing is for them to be happy and have photos that reflect them!
Let's take creative and fun senior photos together!
If your senior is enthusiastic, the session will go well! This time in their lives is so meaningful so let's capture their last year before they leave the nest in a fun and creative way. A few things to note about a senior photo session:
- We can take some sibling and family shots at the end of the session if you'd like!
- Senior photos include 2-3 outfits and 2 locations, so long as the locations are near each other.
- It's best if you bring a family member to help carry clothes, hair brushes and/or water. Bonus if the family member can help crack some jokes!
- Senior pricing is the same as my family pricing found here.
