About me

I'm Ling Ling, a wife and mama of two girls! I love photography because it allows me to bottle up this specific moment in time...my daughters as newborns, wrinkly, tiny and dependent on me. My daughters as toddlers, bumbling around, making messes and giving me the best, slobbery, unabashed kisses. And now, my daughters as school aged children, with gangly limbs, varied interests and smiles showing off their newest missing teeth. I want to capture it all because I want to remember it all. That's why I want to capture your family too.

I am honored to say I am a Click Pro Elite photographer. This is an association of advanced photographers, with membership gained only through a rigorous 150 image portfolio review, judged in seven categories. I have the technical and creative skills to create beautiful images for you!

How My Process Works:

Please fill out the contact information at the bottom of this page. After paying your $300 non-refundable deposit and signing your contract, I will provide you with a gift certificate for that awesome mom if your life, just in time for Mothers' Day! After Mother's Day, I will reach out again to figure out a session date and provide you with a questionnaire and client guide. Let's get mom involved in the planning process so she gets the photos she envisions. To capture your dream shots, you will fill out a questionnaire asking about your family's personalities, likes, dislikes and photography goals. I will provide you with a client guide to give you tips on styling and a list of locations I love. I will be readily available by e-mail to answer any questions and on the day of your shoot, will be available by text message for any last minute updates. All families will pre-pay for the remainder of The Sweet Collection prior to our session together.

What to expect at our session:

It's best to be flexible on the day of the shoot as the Pacific Northwest has variable weather. During our 60 minute session, we will have a mix of posed and candid, group and individual shots. We will play games to get the most authentic smiles out of your kiddos. I want your session to be FUN. Never has a child said no to the game red light, green light.

What comes after the session:

I will carefully hand edit each photo and within 3 weeks, your photos will be ready. You can watch a photo slideshow and scroll through all your photos. You can choose to keep or upgrade your collection as there's three different collections to choose from. Once you decide on your collection, the entire gallery will be viewable and you can select which digital files and prints/products to get.

Pricing

All family sessions are 60 minutes long, for families up to 6 people at a location within 20 miles of Bellevue, Washington. All families pre-pay for The Sweet Collection and have the option to upgrade upon viewing the gallery. Each additional person is $30/person. Each additional mile is $1/mile. Prints and products are available to order directly through your gallery.
